The Worthless "We"

When it comes to people saying "We" gotta do this... or "We" gotta do that... or "Something has to be done"... frankly, I'm sick of hearing it.  The luxury is that when nothing is accomplished, then "We" gets the blame, not "me" or "I".   Blaming others for failure is irresponsible procrastination.

Right now, I'm referring specifically to the lifestyles, moral values, actions and "money god worship" in this country.  We are going to lose our wonderful USA if we don't get God back into our everyday lives immediately.   Preaching about this is all worn out... it's been talked about too much with nothing changing.  The world situation is getting more dangerous with each sunrise.   Well, what can be done about this?

There is something that can be done and that involves hard work for each and every one of us.  It's TEACHING what's Right and what's Wrong and God's Commandments and the Golden Rule to others.  Each of us has to take on this responsibility and commit to ourselves and to God that "I" am going to do whatever I can and I am not waiting for the "We" movement.  Each of us has to make our own deal with God and do our best to keep it.  It can be any deal, big or small... whatever.  As individuals success or failure becomes our responsibility to secure our future.  We'll be like ants... all working hard and doing our individual best.

You can do this on your own and please don't wait for "We".   You don't need to ask anyone's permission and you don't need any education in teaching.  Just open your mouth and start.  Be yourself; talk from your heart. Talk to your kids and grandkids and friends.  You will be surprised how everyone is starved to hear about God and Jesus and goodness.  The subject is refreshing to everyone.  Most people are really sick of what's going on.  Tell others to make some kind of personal commitment to God and then just do it!  He will help, believe me!   Tell your pastor what you are going to do.  He will love it when he finds that he will get some help with his efforts.

Last comforting thought for today... get off your butt now and do what you can or just wait for a "We" movement until there isn't anymore "We" nor anyone else.  Soon, you might also glimpse a few silhouettes glowing in the radioactive twilight just before "lights out".... will you blame "We"?
